I just stumbled accross this and found it interesting. apperently with the proper drivers and hardware you can play your games in full 3d! I think I have everything I would need (minus the glasses) except for my display. I'm still using an older dell 20inc wide screen lcd wich I don't think has 120 refresh rate. I'll have to check. Here's a link if anyones interested.

Sorry mom I didn't get back to you on this.
I'm in the same boat. my display is only at 60hz.
I play an online game called Aion and ran accross someone on there forums saying how cool it was with that game. I have done some checking and it looks like monitors aren't far off that will do this type of thing on there own. But I'm guessing it won't be cheap. I forget off hand what it's called and can't seem to find the original post. Wish I had money laying around so i could upgrade my monitor and get this. 150 bucks seems kinda steep though for a pair of glasses.
I hope that after I die, people will say of me: "That guy sure owed me a lot of money.''
Yeah I looked on Newegg and they sell ONE monitor that is 120Hz its a Viewsonic 22" wide for $299.99. I run dual 22" monitors so that plus the glasses would have me after tax and shipping over a grand - Yeah I'll pass. I think in time they will come down in price but for now I'm out. I don't really game but my kids do. There is NO WAY I would go coughing up monitors and glasses for all 3 of them since they all have their own PC.
Anyways cool read and nice to dream about

My kids would bust my chops if I did this to my pc and not theirs. OK I know I'm good to go on all but the monitor. How do you tell if your monitor is rated high enough? I'm at work so I can't check my home pc.

edit: OK never mind I'm not at the 120 needed for the monitor
