As a former comcast user I can tell you how annoying comcast was with their throttling of the internet. I pay for it then I would like to do as I please. Comcast has been known as a ISP that throttles their customers and they got scolded for it. Now comes along the FCC Chairman and he is getting more annoyed with it too...
So now days you can google just about anything on Google including music and its easy. You just need to know how to google things to find what you want. Lets say you wanted to download music. The best way to find and download music is to use one of these codes:
1#
---> "XXXXX" last modified mp3 "index of" -html -htm -php -asp
2#
It has always been a huge debate in the music industry does file-sharing really hurt or can it possibly help bands? Most popular band will say no it hurts us, but really can they come out and say "Hey thanks, your really helping us out". Well here is the thing, bands make money on the concerts not really on the records sold - that is where the producers make their money. Well file-sharing has made so many bands that much more popular. With times tight some turn to file-sharing even though they know its not legal to share a file (be is music, game, app or program) that a
To help Microsoft's ever battle with piracy they are now going to go after them in both the US, UK and 11 other countries. So how are they going to go about going after them and what will they do. Well starting soon there will be a Microsoft office Update, one that will allow them to check to see if you have a legal or illegal copy of Microsoft Office. If you have a illegal copy then you will be nagged to death with online screens and messages. Ehhh no problem that happens you simply uninstall it - yeah not so easy there - once its installed they say you can't remo
Yesterday I was going to report that it looks like Pirate Bay is off the air for good when low and behold they are back on. Last night when I tried to open the site just to see I got the error page saying it could not be found. This morning I tried again and hey I get it but it different.....
Well with the rise and now fall of the Pirate Bay now is the chance for some other Bit torrent sites to play some catch up. So what are the alternatives out there? Well the folks at torrentFreak did a list of the top 25:
Not very good news for Microsoft when their Windows 7 Ultimate is already cracked. Not just cracked but this is a OEM with a master key. Most cracks of OS's stop dead in the water once a update is done. Microsoft sees the serial as a bad one and your dead in the water. This one is much different - its a OEM one that belonged to Leveno that was leaked on a Chinese forum. It has a master key to it so its not going to be a easy fix for Microsoft. The worst part is that Windows 7
wont hit the store shelves till October 22nd.
With the fall of Piratebay I think that alot are really sceptical of using BitTorrent sites to download, atleast open ones. I mean I think we all watched the single mom who was slapped with a law suite to pay out 80K per song *OUCH*. Well I try and keep up with the latest torrent news and I ran across this article yesterday at TorrentFreak:
So Torrentfreak is now reporting that Pirate Bay has announced it will become a pay site once purchased by GGF. Yeah ummm I'm sure that will go over with what members they have left really well.
Whoa big changes in store for Pirate Bay. NOOOO say its not so but sadly The Pirate Bay is in the process of being sold to a software company Global Gaming Factory X (GGF) for a reported SEK 60,000,000 ($7.8 million) - SEK 30,000,000 in cash and the rest in newly issue shares. The process should be completed by August. Global Gaming Factory X is listed on the Swedish Stock market, so hey it you want to own a bit of Pirate bay now you can. So what is in store for the Pirate Bay? Well some changes for sure.
