Well I got it to work. But it's weird that it doesn't seem to be giving me the full amount of space on the drive. Showing it has 62 megs free. At any rate it did remove the lock crap from the drive. it's just a 1gig stick so not the end of the world. More annoying then anything. If i get time I'll play around with it.
P.S. I am runnign Windows 7 64.

Maybe the chip is fouled up... but who knows... so, at this point you have two options:
1) playing around with UMPtools while praying to your favourite god that this messy thing just works;
2) getting another usb pendrive for 7 bucks, not wasting more time.
You know, I'm masochist, I'll go for the first one. But, you know, number two is much MUCH better.

P.S.: I'm using the 32-bit Windows 7's flavor. But compatibility mode should work fine, too. Anyway I think I'll stick with 32 bit version for a while... It's better to leave 64 bit to unix-like systems.
Heheh yea this really isn't an issue since it's just a 1 gig Flash Drive that I didn't even pay for. It's more of just annoying and I'm like you. When I can't get something to do what I want I want to get it do what I want! hahahah.
Anyway thanks for the util though! That's awsome and thanks for your help. Also welcome aboard!

Also looking for help on this Logintool 2093. I downloaded the UMPTool however when I launch it comes up with Base information being blank and when I click the MP Settings it asks for password and I leave it blank because I don't know what it is, and then after I answer okay nothing happens just sits there. Any help trying to get to use this Flash Drive.

Ok, to avoid confusion...
First of all, plug in your device; then run the UMPtool program with "administration privileges". At the end, follow the instruction in my first and second post. There's no way it shouldn't work...
Anyway... which version of Windows do you have? (with Windows 7
program works fine).

P.S.: I know this kind of USB storage chip is a pain in the ***. I hope you eventually manage to solve the problem as I did.
