Thanks!
Yippee! The F Lock button on my Microsoft keyboard was the culprit. The conveniences of modern technology often throws people for a loop. I’m grateful that this old post still shows up.
Thank you for your help…. And your picture of the F Lock key helped too. I’m sure I could have spent a couple of days staring at my keyboard and not fond the key if not for the picture.
I thought I knew everything about Excel, except when F2 and F4 didn't work, I was ready to chuck it in the bin, and then found your answer. You ripper! Thanks from Oz!
Thanks a lot .....its working now
Your post from 2010 helped me soooo much, 6 years later! Fantastic. As other posters have communicated, I have been in utter frustration not being able to use F-2 with a Microsoft keyboard, and couldn't figure how their keyboard won't work with their program. And, yes, I also have been using F-2 since the Lotus 123 days! I was ready to throw my keyboard out the window, but your wonderful posting has made that unnecessary. Much thanks!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
F lock. One little button So much heartache. THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, thanks, problem fixed.
Disabling function lock worked...thanks
Just to say thanks
I think it was more a software / update problem, and its just a "plus" of my tender ms keyboard
