Dancing Baby Does Samba - Real or Fake?
I think it's real. I mean, I'm no expert or anything but to me, the moves aren't THAT advanced that it would seem fake--he still wobbles around like a baby would. He still sort of stomps around and just.. well, waddles at some points and it's not like unbelievably mind blowing crazy. I'm not saying that any baby can do what he does though; it's pretty rare to see a kid be able to shake his thang around like that. I'm just saying that it's not like "walk on water" far-fetched for this to be fake. Babies can imitate things pretty well and he's probably seen a lot of crazy dancing. I still think it takes talent to be able to mimic it that well at that age though. Not something you see everyday.
Heck, if that 5 year old kid can play the ukulele without taking lessons or even knowing the lyrics but simply playing by ear... then I believe this kid just has a knack for grooving to bouncy Brazilian music or something.
There is footage of Bruce Lee working out in the park and in his backyard and a 2-3 year old Brandon is following along looking quite the young martial artist. Little sons and daughters of athletes are known to be precious in this way, also. Could be faked, then, but just as likely to be real.
I think that it is real. I think that blurred part is just bad video quality, because there are lines throughout the entire screen through the whole video... thats just a result of a bad video camera. Babies do dance all the time, some are good, and some aren't. This one just happens to be pretty good.
I believe it's very real. This baby has natural rythym, great balance and agility. He was born to dance and will probably do great things with it in his future. And it could be just what he likes to do right now.

fake. Baby that old has not developed his motor skills completely. Can't even catch a ball when u throw it to their hands...

Not catching a ball at that age is called a lack of hand-eye coordination genius. That has nothing to do with the ability to move. Besides we don't know what age this kid is. I have a 2 1/2 year old at home, and she will dance through an entire song. She unfortunately received my dancing skills, which means the beat and her don't mix well, but she does make complex hand and feet movements without falling over or catching any balls. Even still, she has a 3 year old friend (a boy) that can catch a ball, and with a diaper on, could look the same age as this kid.
God, no wonder our kids grow up with poor skills, with teachers like you to inspire and educate, I'm thinking about homeschooling.
No offense to the teacher... but trusting teachers is foolish.

I have a friend in Rio that knows this guy. He is a 32 year-old midget who is a bartender in Miraflores. He dances on the bar for tips and does this Tom Cruise "Cocktail" routine along with the rest of his moves.
Fake for sure!!! A child that age can't move to the beat like that & it even looks phoney!

I think it's both. Some points look more normal than others. the dancing is too complex at points for its age and development, but at other points it looks appropriate. the head bobbing seems unnatural. also this kid may be older than he looks, he just has a diaper on but put normal clothes on him and we could get a more realistic grasp of his age.
