Spring has sprung and it is officially kite season. I love to take my kids to the park or beach and watch them fly kites and learn how to maneuver them, cast them, and the art of gliding them to not destroy them should they lose flight.

We started our spring tradition at a local dollar store who had some inexpensive plastic kites for $1. It soon become a favorite past time for our family.

- Glad to see a Hobby and Craft area - I know there are a lot of knit and crochet geeks out here just waiting to jump in to ask and answer any questions and to share their knowledge and projects! Maybe we will even get to see some finished projects along the way!!!
