For all of you iPhone users, especially 2G and 3G users, Opera Mini browser was recently approved for the iPhone. Opera mini is the first real competition for Safari on the iPhone. Opera mini is fast and has some pretty cool features like tabs and a speed dial home screen that you can add pages to. Opera mini renders websites on their server and compresses them before sending them to the device. This makes for some impressive web browsing. Some sites will look different in Opera than they do in Safari. Not bad just different. Opera Mini is a free download. Currently it's in the number one spot in the top 25 free section. Or the iTunes link is below. I haven't used Safari since downloading Opera. It's that good.
