If you guys can solve this you'll be my superheros forever

I installed Logitech Gaming Software and I have this new, constant process running in my process list, and at times it can chew up to between 20% - 30%. I don't even know what it is or what it's doing! Do I need this? If not, how can I stop it from running all the time?
Looking at my Task Manager, it's in this path:
I'm glad this information is "out there". Even better, following the instructions solves the problem. Thank you very much !
It constantly took about 30% cpu when it was running. Renaming the exe was what I had to do.
It was already set to Never launch but it launched on startup anyway. Be sure to check if it still starts on startup if you try that path.

Discord is a newer voice chat software that (some) gamers are using, similar to TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, etc.
I'm not sure why Logitech chose to automatically start this .exe on Windows start up (more specifically, it auto-starts with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), but LGS is starting with Windows); maybe they have some sort of mutual partnership deal.

Either way, if you don't use Discord, or only want it (this Logitech component) to run unless you're actually using Discord, it's an easy fix.
Follow these steps

That should do the trick. If you still have problems with it being stubborn and still starting with Windows, you can also try to rename the logitechg_discord.exe to logitechg_discord.exe.BAK. And, if all else fails, you can just delete the entire Discord folder from C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\ArxApplets
