An artist named Kaziah Hancock paints portraits of fallen soldiers free of charge for their families as part of Project Compassion began 3 years ago. What an amazingly beautiful gift to mourning families. This tribute has brought tears to my eyes.. wow
... awesome, she is a great lady!
I love what she had to say "I dont know how political I am, I just love freedom" ditto sweet lady
I agree, you don't have to be political to have a heart and care. She reaches out to families in need of hugs and she gives them one that lasts.
Kind of interesting to see how her eyes/brain interpret pictures as she paints them ... if you look real close at the expressions on the subject's face in both of these pictures, the one she's painting looks much sadder than the real one. the eyes, mouth, and jowels are more downturned.
Hard to say because the original pic is so bright here. From looking at the few pics above they look happy.

Ok I got my morning cry in - what a beautiful lady. She is the daughter of a disabled veteran. I googled and here are some of her portraits she has painted.
Her tribute to the fallen soldiers:
She doesn't take a dime and does it from the heart. What a wonderful woman she is and how she touches those families.
Ok green you made me cry today!
