i find it funny that Walmart is now selling caskets and urns but they are now. its a good thing they are not selling them in stores because you know some fool would try one out for size and then end up on peopleofwalmart.com
i guess they are doing this to keep up with costco although i didn't know they sell them also but they do. i also learned that a funeral home can't tell you no if you want to supply your own casket. i just kinda find it creepy. this is what yahoo said "Prices range from $999 for models like "Dad Remembered" and "Mom Remembered" steel caskets to the mid-level $1,699 "Executive Privilege." All are less than $2,000, except for the Sienna Bronze Casket, which sells for $3,199. Caskets ship within 48 hours. Federal law requires funeral homes to accept third-party caskets."
if you want to look you can see them here
Walmart Caskets
I don't find anything wrong with it at all, when you're dead you're dead, who cares, and the casket is gonna rot either way. at your comment about ending up on peopleofwalmart.com if they were on display in the stores, you can bet your a$$ on that, it would be pretty hysterical though.
i just saw this on my facebook too. i think its funny that you can get a casket online through Walmart but ill be darned that they dont have my fabric softner in stock when i get there to do some shopping! ugh
I might need to buy one right now, I'm wiped after rakin'
Oh come on now, I find it hard to believe that you're wiped after a little rakin'?? Not with that bod

Nice...... They were just talking about it on my news. I had to go look and they sell 14 caskets - yikes. Some are pretty and I guess if your dead your dead. Hey if ya can shop at Walmart while alive might as well go out in Walmart gear. Funerals can be expensive and if it saves a struggling family some money then I have no issue with it.
@ peopleofwalmart. I love that site
