I'm really sorry James.  My heart breaks for you.  I know how hard it is to loose one of your beloved pets, they are family.  I lost one of our cats a year and a half ago and we were just at such a loss.  At least you can say that she has had a nice life as a cat and was well loved, alot of cats cant say that.  I know it doesn't help the pain but we're here for you.  HUGS  Big Hug

Well, it looks like she ran off to die. I've heard that outdoor cats and dogs will run away when they can tell.... It's just so odd that it came so soon after we found out. I wonder if she heard us telling her goodbye and understood that she was dying..... Oh well. I never got to tell her a final goodbye, but I did tell her how much I loved her the day we got the call from the vet. I also took pictures that day, as well. I almost prefer not having to bury the body... I dunno. RIP Angel. <3

Ahhh I'm sorry James.  I'm sure your love for her was enough and no final goodbye was needed.  I think she was lucky to have such a caring owner who loved her, not all cats get that.  I know its hard when you really don't know what happened or where but I'm sure she did it in her own.
I'm glad you got to take pictures of her when you were with her last.  Hugs to you Big Hug

James I am so sorry I know how you must be feeling.  But I think you're right just letting her go without putting her through the mill with chemo etc.  Like you said she's had a good life, so just spend tons of time with her until its her time to go Big Hug
