Well Gizmodo released some pictures and info of what the upcoming Microsoft phone is going to look like - introducing the Microsoft Pink, the Turtle (first picture) and Pure (second Picture)....

Ok so far be it for me to dis Microsoft but from the looks I'm not sure how impressed I am. First the name tutle - ok who thinks of these things? I mean seriously lets name it after a really slow critter because we want to be associated with "slow". I'm wondering what the PR team was thinking.

OK back to the phone they will be made by Sharp (who also makes the sidekicks) so atleast they are going in with a strong company. I'll be curious if they co-brand this or if they are having them re-brand it. The new phones will include all of the Zune services which I can tell you (as a Zune owner) are awesome. They will also have some apps. Well right now for the Zune HD they only have 9 apps so lets hope they step up the ball with that one.

So what are your thoughts on this one? For me right now I think I'm going to stick with my blackberry curve.
