There are lots of different camera's out there from the more elaborate ones that have multi lenses to the point and shoot ones. I think its safe to assume that most go with the easy point and shoot ones.
I know at home I have a Sony Cybershot and that camera has been though the ringers. With three kids it has taken a beating and the pictures still come out ultra clear. Not only does it takes the best pictures but its easy to operate. If my camera was to die today I would buy the same one again no questions asked. At work I have a sanyo something - I have no idea (I'll update this when I get to work). Its ok but its no where near the quality of my Sony. My Sony I would give a 10 the Sanyo I give maybe a 6 (maybe).
So PCWorld did a story on point and shoot cameras and rating them.
They say you get what you pay for, and $200 certainly isn't peanuts. When it comes to new point-and-shoot digital cameras, however, that price represents a line in the sand: Below that mark are generally bare-bones entry-level models, while hovering around the $200 mark are a growing number of feature-rich cameras that offer great bang for the buck. You can now find a few models priced at about $200 that have wide-angle lenses; some include big, 3-inch-diagonal LCD screens; and others come with handy features, such as the ability to use AA batteries for power. We looked at ten new cameras selling in the vicinity of $200 and rated them in several different categories.
So what type of camera do you use (brand) and do you love it, hate it or is it just another camera. Give the specs on your camera.
I figured we could do our own little digital camera ratings
I have the Sony Cybershot, which I love, I would give it a 10. I have it about 2 or 3 yrs now, can't remember. It has the rechargeable battery though which I love, I'm so over AA's.
