Here is Myley Cyrus's new video "Who Owns My Heart" and its not with out controversy. Myley is 17 years old (she will be 18 in November).
Watch the video and tell us if you think its over the top and way to sexual for a girl of her age.
but apparently they're still too immature to decide if they want to have sex? Where's the logic ...
Thank you Glove I'm now wearing my coffee at work!
I agree there are parts of the video that made me a little uncomfortable but I also know that is the nature of the beast. If you want to make it in the music industry then you have to be a little out there. Overall I don't have a real problem with the video although I might not agree with everything dogg said.
although I might not agree with everything dogg said.
Then you're obviously an axe murderer
I already mentioned parents at the beginning.
yeah I agree with Glove............Take a seat over there on the couch
I don't remember saying anywhere that I was the one porking these 16-17 year olds. At least not at the age I am now ... back in high school though ... completely different story.
I wasn't referring to you "porking" 16 - 17 yr olds, I was joking about the subject matter.
I'm thinking Glove is another closet Britney Spears fan when she was first out on the scene too ...
I'll agree with you on most of this. However, driving allows a 16-17 year old to get to a job and begin to learn independence so they don't freak the Eff out when they move out. Sex at 16 is different in that if they get pregnant they are too young to raise a child. While driving does come with adult risks, as do lots of things teens do, it can be of use to a teen. Sex can't.
The video doesn't surprise me because she is simply following in other's footsteps. It shouldn't shock people as many times as we've seen this cycle now. If nothing else parents should use it as a chance to discuss safe sex and sexually transmitted disease. Teens are going to have sex. It's up to us to educate them to hope we don't have to end some boys life over knocking up my daughter. Uh, I mean the collective "my". Anyway....

Single & Not Looking
This is just another "parents" argument .. because the only people who really care are parents. But who are we kidding, most people lose their virginity around 16 and pretty much always have. It's just parents trying to delay their "childrens" childhoods as long as they can because they don't want to let go, and see their little 'babies' become adults already.
I've said it a hundred times already, 16 is the legal driving age, where they're allowed to completely drive alone, making minutely decisions that could easily kill or maim (cause an accident, kill themselves or others), taking on the adult, lifelong consequences if they do, and that seems to not be a concern. And if they murder someone at that age, they'll be tried as an adult, not a child, but apparently they're still too immature to decide if they want to have sex? Where's the logic ...
Bottom line though is, if they're going to be allowed to act sexual, don't complain once they get sex from doing so.
