So you have gotten used to Google chrome but its not where you go? No problem now there is a simple solution! Now this will ONLY work with Windows Currently But here is a version of Google Chrome that will fit on your Flash Drive and you can carry in your pocket with you ! Its not an Official release it was written by a German Blogger So click here to download !
Download Portable Chrome 0.2.151.0
Just unzip the download to your Thumb Drive and run ChromeLoader.exe. All your Chrome settings and profile information now save to your Thumb Drive. This is a very early solution, a more streamline version should be out shortly , but for the impatient you can take it with you now here !
I use Chrome on my XP box when it's on. Chrome is super fast but so is FF 3.5.1. I also have an alpha version installed in Mint which is my main computer. It's equally as fast but no flash. I still prefer FF 3.5.1 as it is plenty fast and still supports the small handful of plugins I now consider necassary. I like to use Chrome when I want to get to sites fast and know that I don't need flash. On my computers FF is still king.
I will check out the Chrome OS when it drops. It will at least be intersting.

I'm going to be honest I really haven't given chrome the test that I should but here is what I have been reading on the web. Lots of ppl are reporting that there are programs running behind chrome that are kinda info gathering programs. Remember chrome is run by google who has more programs that run behind the senses so do I want to let big brother watch every move I make? I have also heard that chrome has some serious security issues and many have said its worse then IE so that alone made me go ehhhhh pass. Another thing that I have read about it that when you download chrome its quite large and that its hard to tell how large because it has a way of hiding files on your computer that I really don't like. Now I have read this on quite a few sites but HERE is one of them and here is another one:
Paying for Chrome with Personal Data
So for now I think I'll stick with Firefox since I really dont have a issue with it.
Besides Jayson who else here uses Chrome and what do you think. You know google is in the process of developing a OS so before to long they may rule the world and take over microsoft as the giant on the block and I'm seriously not joking. Hummm maybe I need more google stock
