I didn't say "babies dance like that all the time" I said babies dance all the time, when my nephew was 2 yrs old he could have given MJ a run for his money. And when my son was little he did a pretty good impression of Ricky Martin. Babies love to dance, plain and simple, and they're quick learners, it just depends on what they see and who they like to impersonate Smile

My little girl danced very well when she was a baby almost as well Mr. Diapered Samba. We wondered where she got those moves (we didn't have her watching tv and we didn't coach her) she was dancing before I thought she'd want to. I have seen many babies in person and yes, on youtube, who exhibited great rhythm and movement. Babies don't " think" they "feel" the music, especially if they surrounded by it on regular basis. This child is simply a dance prodigy not unlike some children who take up a musical instrument or some children take to math naturally at an early age. Just because your children don't or didn't dance like this, doesn't mean this is a fake and doesn't mean something is lacking in your child. Now my daughter is 12 and can't dance to save her life; I should have continued to help her by encourage her to dance more often (we stopped playing music and dancing with her because our busy life

Very good and rational response... kids are full of potential... it just happens that this particular kid has a superior talent for movement and rhythm ... which makes him special... but u are right... how children eventually develop depends on how one helps and encourages them to develop their natural abilities. Samba dancing is a big deal in Brasil.. and lots of positive reinforcement probably helped in this case.

I agree that babies "feel" music and move naturally when encouraged (or even coached) to do so. Definitely real, but I do think that the "baby" is at least 15 months old, possibly even closer to 2. So more like a toddler than a baby, but I don't think it's fake. How would this video be "faked" anyway?

perhaps you are NOT exposed to the Latin culture, because for me... it is not unusual.

I'm thinking while it is cute it looks edited in the beginnining and doctored throughout, the lighting is fine in the room but there is a blurred shadowed area on the baby's mid-section, so I'm thinking it's fake, cute... but fake nevertheless!

I don't think there's any "extraordinary" about this at all. Babies dance all the time and can be quite good at it, especially if they watch a certain video over and over and is being coached by mom or dad. I think it's real but not all that unusual.

I agree!

yes you are right about babys and how thay are fast learner and love to dance but by my knowledge as a animator they took the fact that the baby can dance a little good and when the camera shows that blur and make it look like a natral effect made by the bad lens that when thay added some animation to make the baby look like hes dancing perfectly.

BUT it is possable that he can dance that good
