This trick works in Windows 7, and Vista (I use it in Vista and it works Great )

Take Ownership in Windows

Install
Download and unzip the files contained in the zipfile. Double-click the InstallTakeOwnership.reg file and Follow steps make sure to Click YES when you see this popup. No reboot necessary.

Create Take Ownership In Windows Right Click Menu

To Uninstall
Double-click the RemoveTakeOwnership.reg and Follow steps make sure to Click YES when you see this popup. No reboot necessary.

Ok what does "Take ownership" do? I kinda figured I owned all the files on my computer anyways. Does it lock the file?

I created this thread to expalin a little about old Ownership method ! Take Ownership of a Folder or File
No need to download Unlocker or use other Ownership method with this trick !

You may remember me talking about unlocker in old threads ?

Like for example you want to delete "SnareCore.exe" in this pic and you get the following error:
Take Ownership of a Folder or File example

When you use Take Ownership you can now delete it ! You can also use the Unlocker to do almost the same thing !
