Ok so you have to say sometimes come on. What happens if your trying to deliver a court summons but you have no idea where the person is? Well you can always deliver them via Facebook and Twitter. Huh you say, well it happened. BREIN (Bescherming Rechten Entertainment Industrie Nederland) has summoned The Piratebay founders Fredrik Neij, Peter Sunde and Gottfrid Svartholm Warg are to appear before a court in Amsterdam on July 21st. Ok I can see sending a message on Facebook but Twitter?? I mean how many tweets did you have to send out to get a whole summons? Your only allowed 140 characters on Twitter. I know I have filed court papers and they are pages and pages long (granted they are US ones). Doesn't the Netherlands require a signature of some type to verify that they saw it?

"The internet works both for those who respect copyrights and those who violate them. Now they know that the hearing will take place on July 21st in Amsterdam,” said BREIN CEO Tim Kuik.

BREIN is trying to shut down Piratebay in the Netherlands. Good luck since they have servers all over the world. They maybe able to shut down any servers in their country but I seriously doubt that they will shut them down world wide, so far Sweden hasn't been able to do it.

"I have Twitter and Facebook accounts, but I haven't seen anything about it,” Fredrik Neij told the TT news agency

I don't know about this. What if the accounts were fake?

oh I agree. Its like they can verify then with a tracker. Even if they could they dont know where they are to serve them at so they would have no way of knowing who opened it. I dont think this would ever pass in the US.
