Well a quick search showed lots of free Mahjong downloads - not sure what is good or bad. I'm not sure how you can get it from your PC to hers unless you can find the program on it and just mirror the program.

Re: Can I transfer windows games

Yeah I tried that before posting this , but even if I could download the version it would be nice to know how to transfer them since copying the files and pasting them do not work !

I'm unable to test it right now, but if memory serves, those windows games are self-contained games, meaning if you just copy the .exe over it should work anywhere. They used to be stored right in the windows folder but since I never play the windows games I never paid attention to them much, so they might be moved somewhere else now, like the program files folder or something.

Re: Can I transfer windows games

I'm pretty sure you can just copy those windows games directories to another computer. I know at least you could with solitaire. But that goes back a ways. But I don't think they use any registry keys or anything you'd have to worry about. I'd give it a try. Worst case it doesn't work.

Let us know!

Re: Can I transfer windows games

I did a couple google searches and from what I can see the vista games will not work on XP. That is without a little work. I guess the vista version is actually called Mahjong Titans. Apparently it's not possible to get or purchase a legal copy of Mahjong titans at this time. It was originally called Shanghai and it is made by Oberon Games.

There are other's out there on the interweb for download some free and some shareware. I found this site, maybe you'll find something similar there.
