Well everyone has their art or craft but for Nathan Sawaya his art and craft is Lego building.  I'm not talking about your standard Lego sets but some really amazing work.  He is currently on tour through North America.  I know most kids love to play with Lego but this is taking it to not the next level but wayyyyy past that.

Here is some of his amazing work

This is Nathan with some of his work

Here is a look into him creating a cello is fast mode

You can see more of his work HERE or you can check out his website brickartist.com

What kid wouldn't want to visit his art studio - its a Lego builders dream come true

That is awesome! I love lego, I helped son o'mine build a few warships when he was younger and I really enjoyed doing them.

Same here with the kids.  There has been times where my formal dinning room was covered in legos doing a build.  I think the last big build we did was a star wars one and it was huge.  These are simply amazing.  He's based out of New York.

Ok so how many parents here at one point hated lego becuase they stepped on them in thier kids room while bare foot in the dark?  *raises hand*  Lego's can hurt like the devil.  Laughing

I have a friend that's a Lego fanatic. Laughing I tease him of course that he's just a little boy. But he DOES have some cool stuff.... Like a pinball machine (that works!!) made from Legos!

Dancin' with myself...

Wow. A lot of those would be good art just as art, but to be made of Legos make them that much cooler.
