This is the standard way to take ownership of a file or folder

To take ownership and grant full control (or read write) permissions of files or folders in Windows Vista and Windows 7 / Windows 8, do these steps.

  • In Windows Explorer window, locate the files or folders that you want to take ownership and grant or change full control or other access permissions.
  • Right click on the file or directory, and then select Properties on the right click menu.

Customize Your 'Open' and 'Save As' Dialog Boxes

In the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the "Open" and "Save As" dialog boxes there are options like My Recent Documents, My Documents, Desktop etc. This is convenient for when you open the same files over and over. Here's how to add one of your frequently used folders without having to navigate all over your network to find it.

Go to "Open" or "Save As". In this example, I want to add the folder called "Reports" I use this reports folder a LOT (which contains subfolders)

How to Fix iTunes in Windows 7 64 bit OS

When changing over from Vista 64 bit to Windows 7 64 bit was easy except for iTunes. I did a lot of digging and I found the issue posted all over the web with no real fixes. Well here is how I fixed mine.

Now first I did go from Vista 64bit to Windows 7 64 bit. Once I reinstalled itunes I simply just had to go into it click on "Store" up in the upper left hand corner and then to "Authorize Computer". Now for some reason it will authorize it as if its on the a different computer (it will say its the second computer)

Sure there are alot of sites with some cool looking ones but I thought we could share the sites that we like to use and maybe give a example or two of what we like and what the site has to offer. The examples below and the links below are all from FREE sites.
